These are all harsh however in my opinion the worst is factory farming and animals used for entertainment. Factory farming is intensive methods of creating food fast and productive without almost any care for the animal. Animals in this case are confined to very small spaces and are always put in the same horrific conditions. Entertainment use of animals is when animals are in a zoo or at a place like sea world. This is also one of the worst types of abuse because of their confinement. Animals who are in these spaces tend to live a very short life compared to their relatives in the wild.
In your opinion what is the worst type of animal abuse? Would you agree with the ones I put or choose one from the other topics I listed? Even though here we are debating which form of animal abuse is the worst, I still want you to understand that I believe all of these types are unjust and wrong.
First off I didn't even realize that there were actually different types of animal abuse but yes I would agree that factory farming seems the most harsh. Not sure about who or what this entertains the farmers, or do people visit the farm to see the production.
ReplyDeleteI would say factory farming is not good in any aspect. I know this isn't an image anyone wants to picture, but when these factories kill animals for production of meat, the quality is harmful. If one of these animals have a problem, they are given injections of hormones or other chemicals for treatment in some facilities. The quality of meat coming from animals in this setting is more tense, contains more harmful hormones, and needs to be watched more closely. I believe it is okay to kill animals such as cows and pigs for meat because I eat meat. With that being said, if we do not take care of our animals, we cannot ensure health of humans who consume this meat.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion on animal abuse that it is wrong no doubt about that but the worst one to me is ownership abuse. It just doesn't make much sense to me that people that own animals hurt them and treat them bad I mean that's money that they spent and an priority that is theirs to take care of not to harm.
ReplyDeleteI personally think the worst is factory farming. The animals are kept in unsafe conditions all the time and it is very inhumane. I believe that there are better options in order for people to get meat for their consumption. Animals get treated so horribly and that is just not what needs to happen.

ReplyDeleteI personally think that the worst for of animal abuse is when animals are used for entertainment. Abusing animals just for other peoples entertainment is not right in my eyes and it is very unnecessary. While I don't agree with any form of animal abuse, some of the other forms like factory farming and animal testing actually serve a purpose in our society like feeding people or finding cures for diseases. I also think that hunting animals just for their fur or their owners abusing them is just flat out wrong and should not be done.
ReplyDeleteI would say the worst type of animal abuse is the one with the pigs in the small cages and they have to stand in their poop and food. they end up getting killed and just give a horrible life overall. Although it brings alt of food to the table for people to eat but at the same time it is horrible and it takes a terrible person to be able to work in this industry.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion the worst type of animal abuse is ownership abuse. When someone adopts an animal or raise an animal its sole purpose is to be for that person. But with abuse things are done to that animal that nothing deserves treatment like that but its even worse when the person doing that to the animal is supposed to be the one taking care of it. The animals in these cases dont even know what life is outside of the abuse and if they are saved from that place they act different and never fully open up to people like they once did. In other cases like factory farming it at least gives people a source of food and with animal testing beneficial things come from it.
