Animal Rights

Animals all over the world are tortured, beaten and experimented on, all for the benefit of human lives. Even though 90% of animal tested products do not work when it comes to human trials. Animals aren't only tortured in labs though, they get mistreated in entertainment, on farms and even inside the walls of their homes, the place they should feel the safest. Animals cannot speak out for themselves and say no or stop. They get treated however human beings want to treat them and there are not even any consequences for mistreating animals. There is no humane way to experiment on animals, even if they numb the animals before experimenting on them, every time an animal gets tested on it slowly brings them closer to the end of their lives.

  1. I agree with the fact that there is no humane way to experiment on animals. Even if they are numbed the animals will feel the after affects of what has happened to them, and they could remember the awful things they went through. I feel animal testing should be discontinued due to the fact that most of the time the medications don't even work on humans. When it comes to cosmetic use it is unnecessary to test on animals also, as they have different reactions to certain things. So I agree with this post because animals should feel safe in this world.

  2. I agree that animals should not be used for experimenting of any kind. Humans and animals do not have close enough DNA for experimenting on animals to be worth it. I think that the government should step in and set new regulations and laws so that animals are protected from unnecessary experimenting.

  3. I agree with you that its not good when animals are tortured and beaten but i do think animal testing is beneficial to not only humans but also animals. You might think that animals and humans are very different and they are in many ways but they also share about 50 of the same diseases and these cures have been found from animal testing. In the grand scheme of things testing on those very little amount of animals was beneficial in the long run. Although the animals might of been in pain, so where all the people and animals that were saved from these tests. Also in credible research labs animals are not abused or tortured, and testing on animals is prevented when possible. Also there are regulations on these tests and are overseen by the USDA. Animal testing is necessary for certain things and because of that i think animal testing should without a doubt be used, but be used when necessary and as safe to the animals as possible.
