Why are Firearms Important
Do you or your family own a gun for safety? Does having this gun make you feel more comfortable in your own home? Firearms are important because they keep innocent people protected in their home and in public. Most of the time a person who is shooting mass amounts of people they get killed by a goodly with a gun. this is just one example of good things that can happen with a gun. A lot of people also use their guns for hunting so they can feed their family. If we take away gun rights many people would be unable to feed their family because they can not afford food so they hunt for it. This is very important because it put a lot of people would struggle to kill food with bow and arrow or other form of hunting.

Growing up in a household that is big into firearms I totally agree that they are good to have. Yes there are some people out there that shouldn't have them but that's just how life is now a days. You cant take someone's guns away because it is a constitutional right and that's my beliefs on it so I agree that firearms are good to have and that we should be aloud.
ReplyDeleteI also feel like our right to bear arms should always be protected but sometimes I do have to wonder if conservatives or like-minded people on guns really think that the more liberal is trying to take their guns. No one is really trying to pass a complete ban on guns but just more restrictions and regulations on them, which is what America is in desperate need of.
ReplyDeleteI dont think guns will ever be fully taken away in America. There are a handful of people that would want this but it is our 2nd amendment and there are too many gun owners in our country that would react in a un wanted way. I think the real question is how much guns will be restricted. I think it would be a good idea to enforce the laws we have right now and crack down on the illegal selling and owning of guns because thats a major problem. I also think they should do a better job on background checks and mental health testing.
ReplyDeleteI think that having a gun for protection or hunting is completely okay, but I just feel like America needs more laws and regulations to keep firearms out of dangerous peoples hands. I feel like more background checks and testing would be very beneficial to help prevent mass shootings.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Libby. There should be more laws on firearm use and possesion. America is one of the few countries where weapons can just be possesed by anyone over the age of 18, no matter what background or mental state they're in.
